The Seattle Mermaids made a special land appearance at Emerald City Trapeze this Sunday, for the Magic Wheelchair reveal event. Magic Wheelchair is a non-profit that builds epic costumes for kids in wheelchairs. We were delighted to be a part of this event, and hang out with the kids and families and see what the build teams made this year.
Ethel Mermaid and MermMazing take on a character crossover fitting of the season, as iconic Freddy Kruger and Jason Voorhees. Que creepy music!

August 27, 2016 first annual Merm Lyfe swim. In true PNW fashion, the weather decided to land at a high of 68 degrees. Brrrrr! This didn't stop a fun turn out of mer folk and friends to swim in Lake Washington.
